- St. Sabina School opened in the Fall of 1961, under the educational leadership of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood. The school has been dedicated to preparing girls and boys to taken an active role in the leadership of today's society and an active commitment to parish ministry.
- Our school provides a strong Catholic education for students in Kindergarten through grade eight. In addition to our quality academic education, St. Sabina School offers strong computer, art, music, and physical education programs.
- Partnership with Parents -- our faculty recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children. Together with parents, the faculty works to prepare the students both spiritually and academically. Through constant communication our parents are informed frequently of their child's progress. Parent communication is available through teacher websites.
- Religious Development -- the school's mission statement focuses on the heart of education at St. Sabina School. There is a strong emphasis on religious decision making rooted in Gospel values. Students attend Mass weekly with their class and monthly with the student community. Monthly student Masses include a service outreach to the larger community. Our words and actions enrich our children with good Catholic values. Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation are available during the school year. Parent involvement in sacramental preparation is an essential part of the religion program -- together with parents, we prepare our children for First Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation.
- School Staff -- our school is currently staffed by dedicated religious and lay persons. All classroom teachers are degreed and certified. In addition to classroom teachers, we are excited to offer our students degreed instructors in reading, math, music, and technology. Our faculty's commitment to education and lifelong learning is evident by their continued pursuit of advanced degrees and attendance at various workshops annually.
- Technology -- in 1999 St. Sabina School was recognized by the NCEA and the University of Dayton for our innovative use of technology. Students create school projects in the areas of multimedia, webpage design, and word processing in our newly remodeled technology lab. A variety of videoconference opportunites are being researched to be offered to the students.
